Tammie M. Chavez

Costume designer, paranormal investigator, and storyteller and a content creator for TRVL Channel, a consultant for the hit series Ghost Adventures

Tammie Merheb-Chavez is a costume designer, paranormal investigator, and storyteller whose work bridges the worlds of history, fashion, and the unexplained. By day, she brings characters to life through costume design for theater and film. By night, she investigates some of America's most intriguing haunted locations, uncovering the stories that continue to echo long after history has been written.

Raised in New Orleans, Tammie's lifelong fascination with the paranormal began among the city's rich traditions of folklore, haunted landmarks, and supernatural legends. That curiosity only deepened throughout her career in the entertainment industry, where working in historic theaters and on film sets introduced her to countless unexplained experiences.  In 2017, Tammie joined the acclaimed Hollyweird Paranormal Podcast, where she has investigated historic locations throughout the United States while interviewing leading voices in paranormal research, history, and folklore. Her work has expanded beyond investigations to include serving as a content creator for TRVL Channel, a consultant for the hit series Ghost Adventures, and a featured panelist at conventions including Parapod Fest, Scared & Alone, and Gold Country Paracon. She also continues her studies through the Rhine Education Center, further exploring the intersection of parapsychology and scientific inquiry.

Tammie is also the creator of Haunted Thread, a unique presentation and costume exhibition that explores the intersection of fashion, history, and the paranormal. Through original couture garments inspired by legendary hauntings, historical figures, and ghost stories, including designs based on Sharon Tate and The Woman in Black, she demonstrates how clothing can preserve memory, tell forgotten stories, and become a powerful medium for exploring our connection to the past.

Whether investigating reportedly haunted locations or designing one-of-a-kind wearable works of art, Tammie is driven by a passion for preserving history and inspiring curiosity. Through her creative work and paranormal research, she invites audiences to look beyond the veil and discover the remarkable stories woven into the places and the garments we leave behind.
